I have always loved painting the energy of Piazza del Popolo, Rome.

While in Rome to teach a workshop, I was able to do this color study of the sisters at Santa Maria in Montesanto, also known as the "Church of the Artists", appropriately named don't you think ⛪️

Wrapping up this 60"x36" piece for an upcoming exhibition at the @boothmuseum titled "Concept to Canvas", opening November 8, 2025. While this is not the most famous fresco in the cathedral, I fell in love with this painting titled "Transfigurstion" by artist Jean Daret.

Beyond grateful and honored to have an official opening date for this must see exhibition! More artist & show info to follow so stay tuned.
